With a focus on family law and general civil litigation, Marietta B. Warren has been representing clients in a broad range of legal issues for over 15 years. Initially coming from a background in art and intellectual property law, Ms. Warren joined the practice as a Law Clerk in 2005 and quickly developed a reputation as an aggressive and thoroughly prepared litigator, who excels at navigating complex legal issues to her client’s advantage.
Ms. Warren practices primarily in the areas of family law, appeals, contracts, general civil litigation, and personal injury.
Ms. Warren assists her clients in navigating various legal issues with sensitivity to each client’s individual needs. She is able to form an immediate connection with her clients and truly enjoys being able to work with her clients one on one. She is able to provide professional advice to her clients as well as compassionate guidance through emotionally challenging periods in their lives. In addition to her general family law practice, Ms. Warren has extensive experience drafting prenuptial agreements and separation agreements, as well as litigating challenges to these types of domestic contracts.
Ms. Warren lives in Annapolis with her husband and two sons. When not in the office, she spends her time pursuing her interests in art, horses and long distance running. Ms. Warren is also actively involved in the arts community in Annapolis, Washington D.C., Baltimore and New York City, and volunteers to help promote arts education and funding in local and inner-city schools.
